Fairfax Greenlights $100 Million Transportation Bond Referendum for Roads

At their June 17, meeting, the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors authorized a $100 million transportation bond referendum this fall. If it is approved by voters on Nov. 4, the $100 million transportation bond referendum will help improve roads and reduce congestion, in addition to providing for pedestrian and bicycle improvements. This $100 million bond is one of many funding sources identified to pay for more than $1.4 billion in transportation priorities during the next six years. The projects proposed for bond funding were identified through extensive public outreach and engagement.
