2009 Elly Doyle Award NominationsParks enhance the quality of life in Fairfax County. They provide open spaces where county residents relax, play and learn. Parks make a difference to people. But, people also make a difference to parks. Each year thousands of volunteers donate their talents, time and tangible gifts to protect natural and cultural resources, enhance educational and recreational services and help the public enjoy their parks. Now is the time to recognize the people who make Fairfax County parks such wonderful places! Please help acknowledge the generous gifts that volunteers give to all of us and nominate a deserving individual or group for the Elly Doyle Park Service Award.
