No crafts. No little kids. This is outdoor exploration for young people (ages 10-14) who aren’t afraid to spend time in the forest. A trained adult will accompany them. Garden Sprouts: Sugaring TimeClick to Register with Parktakes Online

Learn the history of maple syrup and its importance to American Indians and early settlers. From 11 a.m. to noon., three to five-year-olds visit the trees that are tapped for syrup and sample some sweet treats at Green Spring Gardens.The cost is $5 per child. Register online.
