Monday, April 8 Animal Vets Children ages 7 to 12 meet at Riverbend Park’s nature center from 4 to 5 p.m. and go “behind the scenes” to help care for our exhibit animals. On this special day, take the animal’s vital signs and check their health. An optional Riverbend patch is available for $3.15 per scout. The cost is $5 per person. Register online. Excerpts from wartime letters are woven through this specialized tour connecting you with Sully’s Civil War-era owners. The one-hour tour starts at 1 p.m. and the cost is $7 per person.
