Battle of Gettysburg, Day Two
As we commemorate the 150th anniversary of the American Civil War, Sully Historic Site presents an evening lecture series offering an in-depth look at the Battle of Gettysburg. Angie Atkinson, National Park Service Ranger at Gettysburg National Military Park, gives insights on the second day of the battle including Little Round Top and Devil’s Den. This Civil War 150th Commemorative Program from 7 to 8 p.m. is sponsored by the Sully Foundation, Ltd. in memory of Thom F. Hanes, one of the original founders. Light refreshments served. Participants must be at least age 12. A $5 donation is suggested. To make a reservation, call 703-437-1794.
