Sunday, April 21 Birding for Beginners: Optics Interested in birding? We can get you started! Learn about the birds in Huntley Meadows Park from 8 to 11 a.m. and try out different optics. A park naturalist helps you sharpen your bird identification skills. Seasonal topics will be emphasized. Participants must be at least age 12. The cost is $6 per person. Register online. From 1 to 2 p.m. at Sully Historic Site, get a look at rarely seen Lee family artifacts and hear about their history, preservation and care. The cost is $7 per person. Register online. Bluegrass Barn Concert: Junior Sisk and Ramblers Choice From the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia comes one of bluegrass music’s most honest voices in the genre’s history. Hear the band perform at Frying Pan Farm Park’s visitor center at 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door.
