Garden Stroll & Tea
Tour some of Green Spring’s glorious demonstration gardens with a master gardener docent who will inspire you with stories of Green Spring past and present. Afterwards, enjoy a traditional English afternoon tea served at the 1784 Historic House. This program runs from 1 to 3 p.m. The cost is $28 per person. To register, call 703-941-7987.

Hone your skills at identification and improve your knowledge of local species using live animals and specimens at Hidden Oaks Nature Center from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Participants must be at least age 13. Children ages 2 to 12 years go behind the scenes to help the farmers at Frying Pan Park from 4 to 5 p.m. Help with milking the cows and collecting eggs. Play old-fashioned games.
