Warblers of Westmoreland

Visit Westmoreland State Park and George Washington’s birthplace from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and view migrating warblers and songbirds. Bring a lunch and binoculars Wear sturdy walking shoes. The van leaves from Packard Center in Annandale District Park. Reservations are required by 4/24. The cost is $25 per adult. Call 703-631-0013.

Signs of a Garden

From 1 to 3 p.m. at Green Spring Gardens, follow in Monet’s footsteps and capture “signs” of your spring garden on a slate tile as artist Judy Murrett offers inspiration and shows simple techniques.
