Garden Getaway: Surreybrooke

Spend the day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. exploring Surreybrooke, a historic family farm in Middletown, MD. Enjoy a guided tour of the 20 beautiful display gardens and the historic outbuildings followed by lunch in the cottage tea room. After lunch, shop in the nursery and Cottage Gift Shop. Family Fishing by Boat

Enjoy fishing with your children from a jon boat at Riverbend Park from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Follow the naturalist to favorite fishing spots for bass, sunfish and the occasional catfish. Previous rowing experience not required. Boats and PFDs provided. Fishing rods can be rented at the park. Prepaid reservations are required.
