Science and Astronomy Camp

Riverbend Park offers the science and astronomy camp from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the Fairfax County Public School holiday. Delve into mysteries of the solar system and space with experiments and fun. Make your own telescope just like Galileo did. The cost is $90 per camper. Bring a bag lunch, snack and drink for the day. Yoga for Gardeners

Enjoy a gentle Introduction to Vinyasa Yoga from 9:30 to10:30 a.m. This series of yoga classes at Green Spring Gardens features the vinyasa method to increase your strength, flexibility and endurance necessary for gardening. Find inspiration while admiring the gardens. To make a reservation, call 703-642-5173.
