Fall Tablescapes

Bring fall indoors and warm up your holiday table with brilliant golds, reds, oranges and purples. At Green Spring Gardens from 1 to 3 p.m., you will use simple materials from the garden or your local farmers market to create fall-inspired decorations and accessories – from centerpieces to place cards and napkin rings – to set a festive mood for family and friends. See how a few quick and easy touches can produce sophisticated effects that transform your table settings. The cost is $27 per person and includes a full English tea. Just Jumper Horse Show Series

At 9 a.m. at Frying Pan Farm Park, watch local residents compete for a blue ribbon in a variety of jumping classes. This event is held indoors rain or shine. All spectators are free. For more information, call 703-437-9101.
