Monday, November 16 Yoga for Gardeners Enjoy a gentle Introduction to Vinyasa Yoga from 9:30 to10:30 a.m. This series of yoga classes at Green Spring Gardens features the vinyasa method to increase your strength, flexibility and endurance necessary for gardening. Find inspiration while admiring the gardens. To make a reservation, call 703-642-5173. Nature Quest: Getting Ready for Winter How do the animals get ready for the upcoming cold season? Come to Hidden Pond Nature Center from 10 to 11 a.m. to find out. Naturalist Mike reveals how they cope by uncovering ways our local wildlife survive in the wilds of Hidden Pond. Build some mini dens and brush piles to help out critters during the cold months. This program is recommended for children ages three to six. The cost is $4 per child. Young Explorer: American Indians Come to Huntley Meadows Visitor Center from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. to learn about the American Indians who lived in this area 500 years ago. Find out about their lives through a discussion, an activity and a walk through the park. This activity is recommended for six to nine-years-olds.
