Thanksgiving Design

Come to Green Spring Gardens from 1:30 to 12:30 p.m. to create beautiful floral designs to take home with you. Northern Virginia Community College instructor, Bruce Nash, demonstrates all the dazzling possibilities. Floral material, greens and containers will be provided. The fee is $48 per person per floral design. Call 703-642-5173 to make a reservation.

Community Outreach

Native American storytelling and games will be the Creature Feature at Woodrow Wilson Library from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. This free program is perfect for all ages. Woodrow Wilson Library is located at 6101 Knollwood Dr., Falls Church. Join a naturalist from Hidden Oaks Nature Center as she shares the wonder of Fairfax County wildlife using stories, demonstrations, specimens and live animals. To reserve, call 703-820-8774.

Mill Run Dulcimer Band

Enjoy an evening in the Colvin Run barn as the band ends the concert season with old-time music and folk tunes from 7 to 9 p.m. The concert is free! Call 703-759-2771 for more information.

Pre-Turkey Circuit Quarter Horse Show

Starting at 8 a.m. at Frying Pan Farm Park, ya’ll come to cheer on the cowboys and cowgirls in the Quarter Horse Show. Western is in! All spectators are free! Call 703-437-9101 for more information.
