Flying squirrels rival the population of gray squirrels, but since they are nocturnal, we rarely see them. Enjoy a presentation about these amazing gliders of the night and join a naturalist as we look for flying squirrels at roosting boxes near the nature center. Learn how you can encourage flying squirrels to visit your yard. The fee is $6 per person. This program is repeated on 11-28 from 7 to 9 p.m. Call 703-941-1065 to make a reservation. |
