Burke Lake Park - Birthday Party Packages Party Hours: Weekdays: 11 am - 1 pm and 1:30 - 3:30 pm Weekends: 11 am - 1 pm, 1:30 - 3:30 pm, and 4 - 6 pm Parties are available on weekends only between April 5th and Memorial Day weekend. Parties are available daily after Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. After Labor Day (September 1st) through October 26th parties are available on weekends only. Please call Burke Lake Park at 703-323-6600 for more information and reservations. Birthday Party Shelter Information: Birthday parties are held in the wooden birthday party shelter between the ice cream parlor and mini-golf course, weather permitting. There are 4 tables in the shelter. Each table is 29" x 72". Store cakes in the Ice Cream Parlor refrigerator or freezer. Upon arrival please introduce yourself to Ice Cream Parlor staff. Coordinate your activities with the staff. Receive ride tickets from Ice Cream Parlor staff. You may also purchase extra ride tickets the day of your party. You will ge given an ice cream "pre-scoop list to help us keep track of your desired ice cream flavors. By pre-scooping we can deliver your ice cream efficiently, especially if the parlor becomes busy. The Birthday Party Packages are for children only. The maximum number of children that may attend is 24. If you wish, you may purchase food for parents at the ice cream parlor. Package 1 - Train and Carousel (Per group of 10) 11 Train & Carousel Tickets (extra train is for the birthday parent to supervise children) 10 Single Ice Cream Scoops Balloon for each child Total $130, Additional Child $5 Package 2 - Train and Carousel (Per group of 10) 11 Train & Carousel Tickets (extra train is for the birthday parent to supervise children) 10 Single Ice Cream Scoops Balloon for each child 2 Pitchers of Soda 10 Hot Dogs & Chips Total $161, Additional Child $9 Individuals attending birthday parties who are non-county residents are subject to pay the non-county resident fee. Those having parties at Burke Lake Park may pre-pay the gate fee for their non-county resident guests by downloading the Gate Pre-Payment Form (*.pdf) and following directions at the top of the form. *Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view this form. Cancellations: Cancellations 15 days or more from the rental date, will receive full refund less a $25 administration fee. Cancellations of 14 days or less of the rental date, will result in the loss of the rental area fee. A $25 administration fee will be added to any charge for cancellations, reducitions, or date changes. Policies: The party shelter is available 15 minutes before your scheduled time to set up your party, and should be cleaned up within 15 minutes after the party. We do not provide paper products. We do provide generic cups with the purchase of Birthday Party Package #2. Please do not staple or nail decorations to the shelter. If you use tape, please remember to remove it when cleaning up after your party. Grilling is only permitted in the picnic area. No vehicles may drive down to the birthday party area.
