The American Classic Carousel is the Centerpiece of the Park...

Chariots, a spinning tea cup and 14 prancing steeds await only the imagination of children. The carousel is recessed to ground level so that it is accessible for wheelchairs, allowing children to transfer to the tea cup. The chariot is designed to allow for transfer to a seated position or to remain seated in the wheelchair.

2008 Carousel Operation Schedule

1. April 12 - May 25: Weekends only 10am-6pm
2. May 26 - September 1: Weekdays 10am-4pm, Weekends 10am-6pm
3. September 6 - October 26: Weekends only 10am-6pm

Weekend Fee: $1.50/ride

Weekday Fee: FREE
The David and Jane Wilson Family Fund and the Graduate Management Admission Council have provided a generous grant that allows patrons of all abilities to ride the carousel free of charge during regular weekday operating hours during 2008.
