on Mills and Milling in the
Fairfax County Park Authority Collections

Colvin Run Mill, a historic site operated by the Fairfax County Park Authority, was restored 1965-1972 and opened to the public in 1972. Constructed in the spirit of Oliver Evans' design, research and further restoration of Colvin Run Mill is ongoing, closely supported by documentary resources in the Park Authority collections.
