Wood Carving Lessons
No reservations required. Noon-4 p.m. Free (8-Adult), The wood
carvers lend their tools and expertise to uncover your hidden
artistic talent as you create a creature from a block of wood. Free
lesson, nominal charge for wood blanks.

Grinding Demonstration
No reservations required. Noon-3 p.m. The miller will be grinding,
conditions permitting. Tour cost: $7 adults, $6 student 16 and up
with ID, $5 child and senior.

Fathers' Day at the Mill
(All ages) Colvin Run Mill. Treat Dad to a FREE wood carving
lesson with the Northern Virginia Carvers. Nominal charge for wood
blanks. FREE tours of the mill for all fathers accompanied by their
children. Hand-crank ice cream and sample your efforts for $1.50 a
cup. Tour cost separate.

by helping crank a batch of homemade ice cream and tasting the
cold, creamy results. Make a different flavor each Saturday and
visit every week to discover your favorite.
