Tours/Directions

Colvin Run Mill, Fairfax County's award-winning operational 19th century water powered gristmill, offers recreational and educational activities for all ages through daily tours, school programs and special events.

 

OPEN:

  • 11am - 5pm, daily except Tuesdays

Tours are offered on the hour, last tour at 3pm.

Winter Hours: January & February, 11am-4pm, last tour 3pm.

TOUR COST:

  • $6/Adult
  • $5/Student 16 yrs. and up (with ID)
  • $4/Child and Senior (age 64 by December 31, 2009 )
Admission to park is FREE except for some special events.

SUNDAYS, APRIL THROUGH OCTOBER

Grinding Grain

Noon-3pm. The miller will be grinding, conditions permitting. Please call 703-759-2771 to check. Cornmeal, grits and whole wheat flour for sale in the General Store.

Beltway Exit 47A (Leesburg Pike, Rt 7) west 5 miles past Tysons Corner to right turn on Colvin Run Road. Left turn into paved parking lot 500 feet beyond gravel drive to mill.
