This 3 day Reptile Camp will introduce students to native reptiles of Fairfax County. Students will learn through live animal programs, field and survey work and habitat restoration. Come learn what important role these awesome animals play in our lives. When you complete 3 days of this camp you will be come a Reptile Ranger, if you survive. Limit 30 children

All Day Nature Camp - NEW!
9am-4pm
Spend a full week with a naturalist to learn about our park. Visit different homes and habitats, see many sights and hear animal sounds, and learn about the history of our park through games and activities. Reservations required. Limit: 15
August 10-14, ages 6-11 yrs. $250 per camper
Jr. Girl Scout Nature Badge Camp - NEW!
Fulfill six "Let's Get Outdoors" badges! Badges include: Eco-Action, Outdoor Creativity, Wildlife, Your Outdoor Surroundings, Hiker, and featuring Camp Together on Thursday evening, where scouts will participate in an overnight in the park. Patches are included pending completion. Site Patch is also included. Limit: 20 children

(6-8 yrs.), 9:30am-12:30pm. Explore different park habitats to learn about various insects and their predators. Visit the pond to fish for aquatic insects, use nets and jars in the meadow, and also search in the forest. Reservations required. Limit: 15. $130
April 6-7, Monday–Tuesday
New! Amphibian Camp
(9-12 yrs.), Monday 5-8pm and Tuesday 9am-noon. Learn about Fairfax County’s awesome amphibians. Go outside at night to check a vernal pool and set some amphibian traps. Check the traps the next day. Reservations required. Limit 20. $50

New! Bees, Beetles and Butterflies
(3-5 yrs.). Try out activities about our honey bees, study beetle and other insect larvae in Walney pond, plus catch, observe and release butterflies and other insects in the meadow. Reservations required. $75
Nature Snoopers Camp, Nature Day Camp & Junior Naturalist Camp
Walk-in or phone registration (with credit card) for Nature Snoopers, Nature Day and Junior Naturalist Camps on Tuesday, April 14, 9am-4pm. By popular demand, this year’s camp activities are history inspired, “A Step Back in Time.” Campers learn how to live on a farm, make butter and cheese, grow crops in the fields and gardens, fish for food, hunt in the forest and build temporary shelters.
Session dates:
June 24-June 26, ages 5-6. Three-day camp for 5 to 6 year-olds who are finishing kindergarten, 9:30am-12:30pm. No evening session. $75 per camper
Four, week-long camps for ages 6-11:
July 6-July 10, ages 6-8. Six-year-olds must have completed 1st grade. $130per camper.
July 13-July 17, ages 6-8. Six-year-olds must have completed 1st grade. $130 per camper.
July 20-July 24, ages 9-11. $150 per camper.
July 27-July 31, ages 9-11. $150 per camper.
These four camps run from 9:30am to 12:30pm except on Thursdays. The camp for six to eight-year-olds will include a Thursday evening session with a campfire and s'mores, and the camp for nine to eleven-year-olds will include a Thursday overnight in the park with a campfire dinner and s'mores, and morning breakfast.
