Looking for challenging, part-time work? The Fairfax County Park Authority (FCPA) hires staff for children's programs.

This year the Rec-PAC program will operate at 52 elementary school locations around Fairfax County on weekdays from June 30th through August 7, 2008. During the summer, staff will be assigned to a site and work daily from 8:15 a.m. - 3:45 p.m., or 11:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. at some sites.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

1) THE FOLLOWING IS REQUIRED FOR ALL POSITIONS:

• Must have previous experience working with Children/Teens in a group setting.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and a high school graduate.
• CPR and First Aid (Child and Adult) valid through August 2008.
• Negative Tb Test Result - (Not required for Community Centers).
  
  

RECenters/Parks: These camps are not part of the “Open Hire”:

• Adventure Camp
• Half-day Camp Instructors Positions in Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, Tennis
