Park Authority Issues Athletic Field Lighting Performance Outline Specifications The Park Authority's new performance specifications outline for Athletic Field Lighting Systems is now posted. The new specifications¹ will allow all qualified and interested bidders to participate in the procurement process of sports lighting systems for future projects of the Park Authority. June 8, 2006 Park Authority request issued for Technical Submittals for Standard Field Lighting System Designs PROJECT NUMBER: 474104 CLOSING DATE/TIME: June 23, 2006, 5:00 p.m. (EST) The FAIRFAX COUNTY PARK AUTHORITY is requesting sports lighting vendors to submit system designs in accordance with performance specifications. Complete information, including performance specifications requirements, can be viewed at Request for Technical Submittals¹. Approved systems will be used as the basis for a unit price competitive bid solicitation scheduled to be issued in August 2006. Questions regarding technical submittals and associated requirements should be directed to Les Hegyi, Project Manager at 703-324-8575 and as indicated in the cover letter and "General Information and Instructions" of the Request for Technical Submittals.
