Equestrian Facilities

Frying Pan Farm Park boasts equestrian facilities for show and practice. The Activities Center has an indoor riding arena 110 feet by 235 feet with a sand-base floor and spectator seating for 800. In addition to open riding, the center is used for horse shows that feature some of the area's top horses and riders.

Two outdoor riding rings with all-weather footing and more than three miles of cross-country trails are available to equestrians. Jump equipment and over 150 semi-enclosed stalls complete the facilities that make up the county's Equestrian Center.

Equestrian events vary throughout the year. Open riding is permitted 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. daily, except if arenas or trails are booked for an event. Most events are free for spectators. Reservations needed - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 10am-4pm, Thursday 10am-3pm. Hours are subject to change. Please call 703-437-8261 24 hours in advance to make your reservations.

Individual use: $8.00 per hour
Individual with an instructor: $13.00 per hour
10 hour rider punch pass: $65.00
10 hour student and instructor punch pass: $100.00

Pre-Turkey Circuit Quarter Horse Show

Starting at 8 a.m. at Frying Pan Farm Park, ya�ll come to cheer on the cowboys and cowgirls in the Quarter Horse Show. Western is in! All spectators are free! Call 703-437-9101 for more information.
