Frying Pan Farm Park, 703-435-3710. Meet the new baby animals at Frying Pan Farm Park. January through April is a very busy birthing time on the farm. Lambs, goats and calves deliver during the cold winter months. Now that spring is here, the babies are ready for visitors.

Whether you’re pickin’, strummin, or just listenin’ – it’s an old-fashioned knee-slappin’, finger-poppin’, toe-tappin’ good time! Bring your instrument or come by the Frying Pan Farm Park Country Store to enjoy this free, drop-in session from 1 to 4 p.m. For information, call 703-435-3710.

Sheep and Wool Day

Watch sheep shearing, wool spinning and other wool demonstrations at Frying Pan Farm Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participate in hands-on farm activities and get an up-close introduction to the lambs. The cost is $3 per person. Call 703-437-9101.
