Zoey, one our Angus Cows delivered a large calf Friday morning, February 5. The calf weighed 91 pounds and is a heifer (girl).

Ruby delivered a Shorthorn Bull (boy) calf on "Labor" Day, at 9 a.m. This is her first calf.

Meg, our Dorset Ewe delivered twin lambs on Friday night, February 5! One ram (boy) and one ewe (girl). They weighed 9 and 10 pounds, with the boy being the larger lamb.

Born March 1
Our Suffolk Ewe delivered twin lambs. Each lamb weighed 10 pounds and she had one ram (boy) and one ewe (girl). The twins were born at 12:30 p:m: and 1:00 p:m to a barn full of visitors on a perfect spring day.

Our Black Welsh Mountain Ewe delivered triplet lambs! Two ewes (girl) and one ram (boy) and the ewes weighed in at 5 and 8 pounds, and the ram was 7 pounds.

Born March 12
Our favorite Suffolk Ewe, Stompy, delivered a large ram lamb weighing 12 lbs around 9 a.m. He is a large lamb, already weighing 14 pounds at only 48 hours old!

Dorset Cross Ewe

 

Born April 14
On the same evening as the piglets, as we were locking up the farm, our Dorset Cross Ewe delivered a large white ram (boy) at 5:30 p.m.

Suffolk Cross Ewe

 

Born April 20
Our last sheep of the year delivered a large black ewe (girl) lamb at 3:30 p.m. This brings us up to 10 lambs for the spring, with 5 ewes and 5 rams.

This mommy sow delivered 9 piglets between midnight and 3 a.m!

Our Chester sow named Two Face delivered her first litter of piglets from 8 p.m. until midnight.

One of our blue butt sows named Dottie delivered Saint Patrick’s Day piglets! From 5 - 9 p.m., she delivered her second litter of piglets without much assistance! No green, but they are very colorful!

Playing to a large crowd of kids, right after lunch, our Alpine doe Penelope delivered twin buck (boys).

The post office stork delivered us freshly hatched chicks from Ohio to be a future egg laying flock at the farm. They will begin to lay eggs around 5 months of age and are currently living in the heated room behind the hand wash sinks.

Our Spot Sow delivered her piglets on May 22, 2016 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m Come see these beautiful spotted piglets in the Kidwell Barn.
Stella, one of our Alpine Does delivered twin bucks(boy) on April 25th at 3:00 a.m.
Our last sheep of the year delivered a large black ewe(girl) lamb at 3:30 p.m.
On Saturday April 16th, right after lunch, Penelope who is one our Alpine does(girl) delivered twin buck(boys) kids in front a large crowd.

On April 14, from noon until 6 p.m., one of our Yorkshire/Hampshire Sows delivered a large litter of piglets. They are very colorful and are in the Kidwell Barn.
Dottie delivered Saint Patrick’s Day piglets! No green, but they are very colorful piglets!
