Show Series the FPFP Equestrian facility is the premiere equestrian
venue for the Northern Virginia and DC areas’ top horses and riders.
Frying Pan Farm Park hosts a world class equestrian facility including new state of the art barns with 150 rubber mat stalls, heated wash stalls, hot and cold water, and building fans. The indoor arena can accommodate 2,200 spectators with bleacher seating, permanent heated restroom facilities, a full size class room or show office, state of the art sound system, and two enclosed judge’s stands. There are three sizeable riding rings. The two outdoor rings measure: 110’ x 250’ with bluestone footing. The indoor arena measures: 110' x 235' with a sand based footing. Additionally, there is a small warm up ring just outside the entrance to the indoor arena that measures: 72’ x 142’ with bluestone footing. The facility also provides a vast array of jumping equipment including over three miles of cross-country trails and jumps to complete Fairfax County’s premiere equestrian complex.
In addition to equestrian competitions, the facility is open for public use between the hours of 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM with the exception of regularly scheduled maintenance, private rentals, horse shows, or conditions related to weather. Trailer parking is available near Barn 1, Barn 2, and behind the Indoor Arena. Proof of negative Coggins test within 1 year is required for all horses on the park grounds. Out-of-State horses will need to have the appropriate health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian.
