Friends of Frying Pan Farm Park
Frying Pan Farm Park is a destination of many distinctions. It's unique blend of natural, agrarian, historical, recreational, educational, and equestrian cultures provides a welcome refuge from the swirl of surrounding suburban life.
The Park is many things to many people. For the nearby neighbors, it's a walk in the woods, skipping stones at the falls, and picking berries along the way. For the history buffs, it's a lasting look at the faded era of 1930s farming and family life. For the horse enthusiasts, it's trails and jumps and space to show. For the youth, it's an open-air classroom to study the rhythms of life. For the very young, it's "Old McDonald's" come alive with a playground just for them.
Alive with activity year 'round, Frying Pan Farm Park is supported by the Friends of Frying Pan Farm Park (FFPP) by its provision of programs, facilities, and livestock. FFPP continues to facilitate the on-going operation of the park through ownership of the livestock and by supporting volunteers in almost all facets of the farm and equestrian programs. FFPP's role has evolved from one of operations to an organization that promotes and projects future needs. Deliberate membership in the organization will ensure it's continued successful support of Frying Pan Farm Park.
