Junior Golf Program: Tournaments Please contact the host course for further information on tournaments and/or clinics Pre-registration for clinics and tournaments is recommended at all sites Clinic starting times vary at each course: Burke Lake GC & Oak Marr GC are 5-6pm Pinecrest clinics are 4-5pm Monday, March 30 Mixed Team Ice Breaker Pinecrest GC Saturday, April 25 Jr/Parent Scramble Burke Lake GC Saturday, May 30 Jr. 9-Hole Pinecrest GC Saturday, June 20 Father’s Day Burke Lake GC Sunday, June 21 Father’s Day Tournament 9:00 a.m. Juniors compete in a 2 person team scramble format. Juniors will be divided into different age groups. Trophies will be awarded for each age group and for closest to the pin. Reservations are required. There is no rain date. Oak Marr GC Sunday, June 21 Father’s Day Pinecrest GC Saturday, July 4 Red, White & Blue Burke Lake GC Saturday, July 11 Junior / Parent Jefferson GC Wednesday, July 15 Junior 18-hole Tournament (7-17yrs.) 8am - noon, Burke Lake Golf Course, 703-323-1641. Junior golfers compete in an 18-hole individual stroke tournament. Players compete in 3 age divisions: 10 & under, 11 - 13, 14 - 17. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in all divisions. Closest to the pin contests. Registration begins 2 weeks prior to event. Rain date: July 22. Cost: $20/Jr. program members, $25/non-jr. program members, includes lunch. Fee due at time of registration. Burke Lake GC Wednesday, Aug 19 Junior Club Championship (7 - 17 yrs.), 8am - noon, Burke Lake Golf Course, 703-323-1641. Junior golfers compete in the season-ending tournament. An 18-hole individual stroke tournament for all age divisions: 10 & under, 11 - 13, 14 - 17. Closest to the pin contests. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in all 3 divisions. Special prize for overall low gross champion. Registration begins 2 weeks prior to event. Rain date August 26. Cost: $20/jr. program members, $25/non-jr. program players, includes lunch. Fee due at time of registration. Burke Lake GC Sunday, Sept. 20 Junior Club Championship 9:00 a.m. Junior golfers compete in a nine hole stroke play format. Juniors are divided into different age groups. Trophies will be awarded for each age group and for closest to the pin. Reservations are required. Cost is $20. This tournament is only open to FCPA Junior Program Members. Closest to the pin contests. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place teams in 2 age divisions: Adult/Jr. 7-12; Adult/Jr. 13-17. Registration begins 2 weeks prior to event. Limited to first 48 teams.
