Saturday May 18
9 a.m.-3 p.m. More than 40 vendors of rare and unusual plants descend
on Green Spring Gardens to fill your spring gardening needs. FROGS
members receive 10 % off plants in the Garden Gate Plant Shop. Don't
miss this exciting annual tradition.

Visit our plant sales area offering unusual, hard-to-find plants
nurtured by Green Spring's horticultural staff. The shop specializes in
plants that do well in our local growing conditions and offers plants
featured in Green Spring's gardens. A great opportunity to try
something new in your own landscape. FROGS members receive 10 % off
plants in the Plant Shop.
Concert in the Garden
Wednesday, June 26
7pm. Be our guests for a musical evening in the gardens with the
Fairfax Symphony Brass Quintet and celebrate the 20th Anniversary of
the Friends of Green Springs (FROGS). Bring a picnic dinner to enjoy on
the lawn. FROGS Board will serve complimentary birthday cake and
lemonade and raffle off 20 plants in celebration of their 20 years.

Agriculture in the Classroom
for Elementary Teachers (K-5)
Tuesday, August 6; 9-2pm
This highly interactive session full of hands-on lesson ideas and
resources is designed to be integrated into your daily curriculum.
Interdisciplinary lessons involving science, math, social studies, and
language arts engage students as they learn through doing. Light lunch
