Artists from the newly published American Botanical Paintings: Native Plants of the Mid Atlantic will be on hand at Green Spring Gardens from noon to 2 p.m. to sign copies of the book and talk informally about the project. For information, call 703-642-5173.

The Garden Gate Plant Shop
Open Monday-Saturday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Sunday Noon - 4 p.m.

Visit our plant sales area offering unusual, hard-to-find plants nurtured by Green Spring's horticultural staff. The shop specializes in plants that do well in our local growing conditions and offers plants featured in Green Spring's gardens. A great opportunity to try something new in your own landscape. FROGS members receive 10% off plants in the Plant Shop.

Master Gardener Volunteer Training Program 2014
Tuesdays and Thursdays, September 9-November 18, 1-4 p.m.

Join Green Spring Master Gardeners, an elite corps of trained, volunteer, horticultural educators, who work with area communities to encourage and promote environmentally sound horticultural practices. Learn More >>

Gardeners’ Holiday Open House

Treat yourself to a day of holiday fun in the garden. This festive day is for gardeners of all ages, individuals and families. Register in advance for the 1 p.m. children’s puppet show, enter the annual gingerbread house contest, and catch a ride on the trackless train.
