THE CONTINUOUS GARDEN SYMPOSIUM
8 am-noon. As homeowners, we ask our gardens to do a lot in a very
little space: year-round beauty for little maintenance. During this
half-day symposium, we introduce you to lowmaintenance shrubs, lovely
perennials, and container gardens that inject beauty and carry your
garden through the year. Learn how to use color and focal points to
draw your eye through the garden, how to use containers to manage
problem areas, and get our recipe for winning plant combinations.
Discover how basic design principles can help you achieve your
beautiful, fourseason garden. Speakers include David Culp, designer,
lecturer, and author of The Layered Garden; Nancy Moitrier, designer,
horticulturist, and owner of Designs for Greener Gardens; and Karen
Rexrode, horticulturist, photographer, and former nursery owner.
