Green Spring Gardens, Community Garden Plots: Contact Information

Private Rototillers
Please call our office at 703-642-0128 for names of individuals who do tilling for a fee in the garden plots. To submit tiller names to the list, please call our office.

Mulch
For information on availability and delivery of leaf or wood mulch, please call the Mulch Hotline at 703-324-5995.

Contact the Garden Plot Program
To contact the Garden Plot office, please call 703-642-0128, TTY 703-803-3354. To speak with the Garden Plot Coordinator please call Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9 am to 2 pm.

Theft or other illegal activity at garden plot sites should be reported to the Fairfax County Police at the police non-emergency number 703-691-2131, or the Fairfax County Police Department website: https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/police/crs. Even if the value of the theft is minimal (such as in a few starter vegetable plants, or tomatoes), theft can lead to other criminal activities in the parks. For this reason, the Fairfax County Police Department and the Fairfax County Park Authority want to know of theft, or any criminal activity in the parks. Garden Plot renters are also recommended to file a Fairfax County Park Authority Incident report. Please contact the Garden Plot Coordinator for additional information at 703-642-0128.

Garden Plot Fee Increases
The current annual rental fee for a 20’ x 30’ garden plot in a park with a water supply is $65. The Fairfax County Park Authority is proposing fee increases for contracts signed after April 1, 2013. For more information, please read the 2013 Fee Proposal, pages 18 - 19.
