Scout Programs

Scouts

Young scout programs are available on both weekdays and weekends and last approximately 1.5 hours to 2 hours, depending on the badge requirements (programs may be shortened due to bad weather). There is typically a brief introduction indoors followed with a walk in the park. Depending on the badge, we may not cover all of the requirements to complete the badge, but focus on those requirements best taught at this park. There is a maximum of 25 scouts per program.

  • 1.5 hour programs cost $8 per scout with a 12 scout minimum
  • 2 hour programs cost $12 per scout with a 9 scout minimum

Girl Scouts

  • Daisy: Make the World a Better Place, Use Resources Wisely, Flower Garden Journey
  • Brownie: Bugs Naturalist, Celebrating Community, Hiker, My Family Story, Painting Artist, Senses, Wonders of Water
  • Junior: Animal Habitats, *Detective, Flowers, *Get Moving Journey, Playing the Past
  • Cadette: Book Artist, *Breathe Journey, *Night Owl

Boy Scouts

  • Tigers: Tigers in the Wild, Clean-up Treasure Hunt and Hike, Tiger Elective Adventure Family Stories, Tiger Elective Adventure Sky is the Limit
  • Wolf: Paws on the Path, Wolf Elective Collections & Hobbies, Wolf Elective Finding Your Way
  • Bears: Sharing your World with Wildlife, Fur Feathers and Ferns, Paws for Action
  • Webelos: Into the Woods, Into the Wild
