REGISTRATION for camps begins February 5. REGISTER by May 22 for summer camps and SAVE $8!

Parktakes Online!  All fee programs at Lake Accotink Park require advance registration and payment. You may register online through Parktakes Online . To register, all you need is your member number (or barcode number), a valid email address and a Visa or MasterCard. Not a member yet? Sign up today! Mothers' Day Cruise
Sunday, May 10

(All ages). Spend the day with Mom enjoying Mother Nature! You can't beat a beautiful May after-noon cruising among the wildflowers and bald eagles. These specialty cruises will set off at 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, and 7pm on Mothers' Day. Boarding Fees: $3 for Moms; $6 for other adults; $4 for children ages 3 and up.

Canine Cruises
Sundays at 7 p.m., May 24, June 28, July 26
Sundays at 6 p.m., August 23, September 27

(Humans 8 years and up; dogs all ages). Treat your canine companion to a special cruise aboard Lake Accotink Park’s pooch-friendly pontoon boat. Catch the last rays of the sun as it dips toward the distant lake shore while your dog scans for ducks, geese and other lake dwellers. $6 per person, no charge for dogs. Limit one dog per person.

Fathers' Day Cruise
Sunday, June 21

(All ages). Reserve your spot and treat Dad to a special day at Lake Accotink Park! Cruises leave dock at 1 pm, 3 pm, 5 pm and 7 pm on Father’s Day. Sit back and listen while your tour boat guide shares interesting facts about the history of the park, the lake and the surrounding area. Boarding Fees: $3 for Dads; $6 for other adults; $4 for children ages 3 and up.

Cardboard Boat Regatta is Back!

A 26-year tradition!
Find out who will sink and who will float in their cardboard boat.

Sunday, May 31

10 a.m. - Boat drop off begins
Noon - Judging
2 p.m. - Races start

Park entrance fee: $4 per vehicle; applies to all vehicles entering the park that day.

Fun for All Ages!
Judging Categories
Most Likely to Float, Titanic, Team Spirit, Best Costume and Pride of the Regatta.

Boat Race Fees:

  • $20 per boat per race if received by noon on May 29
  • $30 per boat per race after noon on May 29
    (Each boat may enter in up to 2 race categories)
  • All boats must be registered and checked in by noon May 31.
