Enjoy a relaxing guided tour of Lake Accotink Park.

Sunset Cruise
Saturday, September 21, 7 – 8 p.m.
(18yrs and up ). Soak up the sunset and relax as you cruise the beautiful shoreline of Lake Accotink. You may spot a heron settling in for the night or a deer coming down to water’s edge for a late drink. Sit back and listen while your tourboat guide shares interesting facts about the history of the park, the lake and the surrounding area. $6 per person. Reservations and advance payment required. Cruise may be cancelled in case of rain or gusty winds. Refunds issued only if cruise is cancelled.

Howl-o-ween Dog Costume Contest and Boneyard Hunt
Saturday, October 25, 2 – 4 p.m.
Ready for some howlin’ Halloween fun? Gather at Lake Accotink Park to witness the best in canine creativity. Show off your pet’s unique personality and compete for special prizes and treats! Take your dog for a walk through the "boneyard" to sniff out well-earned treats while the judges confer. The cost is $6 per dog. To register, call 703-569-0285.

Halloween Goblin Golf & Lakeside Bonfire
Saturday, October 25, 5 – 8 p.m.
Join us at Lake Accotink Park for this spooktacular event. Wander past tombstones and ghoulish delights placed along all nine holes of the “Gruesome Goose” Mini-Golf Course as you play a ghostly round with glow in the dark golf balls! Play a second round at no extra charge! Ride the spooky carousel while spectral music plays, then cast off the shivers by warming up to a blazing beach bonfire! The cost is $7 per person; ages two and under free. Take a 20-minute wagon ride through the eerie nighttime woods for $3. To register in advance, call 703-569-0285.
