Park grounds open at 7am so bring your family for a full day of fun! The Water Mine will be open 10am-8pm, but generally hits capacity around 12pm so plan to arrive early!! There will be vendors near the park main office offering a variety of foods and tasty dessert treats! The carousel and marina will also be available from 10am-6pm. There will be pony rides and a small petting zoo from 10am-1pm, and a field day event with family games from 4pm-6pm near the picnic area. There is also a puppet show from 6pm-8pm near the carousel! Parking attendants will be directing traffic throughout the park. When you enter the park, please follow the directions of the parking staff. Since this is our busiest day of the year with nearly 10,000 visitors, expect some lines and delays to get into activities. Lots of water and patience will help all enjoy the day. Bring a picnic or buy food from one of our delicious food vendors. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted. The fireworks show will begin at approximately 9:15pm. The fireworks are shot off over the lake so the view can be seen from almost any portion of the park! The campgrounds are available for anyone wishing to stay overnight.
