Come join the festivities at Lake Fairfax Park July 4, 2011 (rain date July 5, 2011) Download Site Map Park grounds open at 7am so bring your family for a full day of fun! The Water Mine will be open 10am-8pm, but generally hits capacity around 12pm so plan to arrive early!! There will be vendors near the park main office offering a variety of foods and tasty dessert treats! There will be pony rides and a small petting zoo from 10am-1pm, moon bounces from 1pm-5pm, and a field day event with family games from 5pm-6pm near the picnic area. The carousel and marina will also be available from 11am-7pm. There is also a puppet show from 6pm-8pm near the carousel! Parking attendants will be directing traffic throughout the park. When you enter the park, please follow the directions of the parking staff. The fireworks show will begin at approximately 9:15pm. The fireworks are shot off over the lake so the view can be seen from almost any portion of the park!! The campgrounds are available for anyone wishing to stay overnight. Reservations are highly recommended and will be accepted as long as space is available. Call 703-471-5415 to make your reservation today.
