Marina and Carousel

HOURS:
Memorial Day through June 19, 2013: Weekends, 11 am to 6 pm
June 19 - Aug 25, 2013: Daily, 11 am to 6 pm
Aug 26 - Aug 30, 2013: Daily, 2-6pm
Labor Day weekend: 11 am to 6 pm
Sept 4 - Oct 28, 2012: Weekends ONLY, 11am to 6pm

Come visit the marina or ride the beautifully restored antique carousel at Lake Fairfax Park! Enjoy our 18 acre lake, wildlife and beautiful scenery while canoeing, operating a pedal boat or taking a leisurely ride on the tour boat. Our trained staff pilot the tour boat and will assist you when launching and returning from your canoe or pedal boat ride. Canoe and pedal boat rentals include U.S. Coast Guard approved PFDs (Personal Flotation Devices) and paddles for the canoes. Whether skilled or novice on the water, you will enjoy the features offered at Lake Fairfax Park marina.

Want to stay on dry ground? Bring a pole and try your hand at fishing from the shoreline or dock. A Virginia State Fresh Water Fishing License is required for anyone fishing who is 16 years or older. Fishing from personal boats is not permitted Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day and weekends only from Labor Day through the last weekend in October. Fishing from rental boats is not permitted.

$1.75 per person Children 2 and under are free.  Parent may ride with their small child at no charge.

Tour Boat Rides
Adult	$2.00 per person
Child (12 years and younger)	$1.50
2 years and younger are free.
Pedal Boat Rentals
Half-hour Rental Fee¹	$6.00* M-F / $7.00* Weekends & Holidays
Hourly Rental Fee¹	$10.00* M-F / $11.00* Weekends & Holidays
At least one person in the pedal boat must be age 16 or older. Not more than three persons per pedal boat.
¹Senior Citizens ( age 65 or older ) receive 35% discount Monday - Friday, excluding Holidays *Item fee includes tax.
Canoe Rentals
1 Hour Rental Fee¹ (one hour minimum)	$6.00*
At least one person in the canoe must be age 16 or older. Not more than three persons per canoe.

Private Boat, Launch Fees
Single Launch¹	$2.00*
Season Pass	$20.00*
Launching: All private boats launched will pay a $2.00 launch fee. Inflated boats may be used on the lake, provided they have a minimum of three separate air chambers. Please note: No boats powered by motor, sailboats or paddle boards are permitted on the lake. Fishing from personal boats is not permitted Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Fishing from rental boats is not permitted.
