NIKE RECREATION AREA

AREA DESCRIPTION: Located north of the golf course, around the former Nike Control facility this area is one of several active recreation parks distributed throughout Laurel Hill Park. The plan proposes lighted and irrigated rectangular fields and maintained lawn areas for active play. The athletic fields will serve local community athletic groups and periodic tournament areas.

The park may reuse some existing buildings on site for interpretation and support facilities for the athletic fields
