Spotlight by Starlight Entertainment Series
The free programs of the 2009 Spotlight by Starlight season are presented through the cooperative efforts of the Fairfax County Park Authority, the Friends of Mason District Park and private donations.
The Friends of Mason District Park is a group of citizen activists who support the park and its programs. Members donate their time and talents to fund raising and park improvement projects.
With the support of the corporate community, nonprofit groups and elected officials, the goal of the Spotlight by Starlight concert series is to invite the residents of Fairfax County to celebrate community through the cultural arts.
With more than 50 performances per season, families can pack a picnic and head for the park down the street to see their neighbors, spend an enjoyable evening with their children and be entertained.
