Starlight Cinema Brochure "Let's go to the DRIVE-IN" A FREE series of drive-in movies held Saturday nights in August at 7:30 p.m. at Trinity Centre Parking in Centreville. For those who remember taking a date or the whole family, kids and all, to a drive-in movie, here is a chance to relive the good old days; for those who came along to late for the drive-in era, it's an opportunity to sample this old fashioned fun. The Spotlight on Cinema movies can be watched on the big screen from the comfort of your car or from beneath a canopy of stars in a designated seating area. Starlight Cinema Drive-In Movies 5875 Trinity Parkway, Centreville, VA Map/Directions Changes and Rescheduled Performances: The Starlight Cinema Drive-In showing scheduled for Saturday, August 27 has been postponed due to expected severe weather. The movie, Megamind, will instead be presented on Saturday, September 17 Your evening will begin with an outdoor pre-movie program - music, food and children's activities. Then, at dark, the movies will start. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. This summer the Saturday night Starlight Cinema series will feature the following films: Saturday, August 6 DESPICABLE ME When a criminal mastermind uses a trio of orphan girls as pawns for a grand scheme, he finds their love is profoundly changing him for the better. Saturday, August 13 HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON A hapless young Viking who aspires to hunt dragons becomes the unlikely friend of a young dragon himself, and learns there may be more to the creatures than he assumed. Saturday, August 20 SHREK FOREVER AFTER Rumpelstiltskin tricks a mid-life crisis burdened Shrek into allowing himself to be erased from existence and cast in a dark alternate timeline where Rumpel rules supreme. Saturday, September 17 MEGAMIND The supervillain Megamind finally conquers his nemesis, the hero Metro Man... but finds his life pointless without a hero to fight. Welcome to the fourth year of Sully District Starlight Cinema. Welcome to another exciting season of Starlight Drive-in Cinema. These movie nights are designed to bring the community together and nurture community spirit. Our 2011 season provides four movies, free for the public to enjoy. Movies selected are chosen to appeal to the whole community - films that parents can bring their children to, but adults can also enjoy. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal.
