Sears House at Historic Centreville Park - Restoration Update

The Sears House restoration project has been continuing all summer. We have all been excited to see this gem of a house come back to life in such a spectacular fashion.

The exterior work on the house is almost complete and the inside is the next focus of the restoration efforts.		 Click to Enlarge
The porch has been completely re-built		 Click to Enlarge
and awnings have been installed over the porch and windows.

The interior trim has been painted and the interior is being restored with the original fixtures.
Cabinets, period appliances and final painting are the next steps.		 Click to Enlarge
Original period details such as copper gutters and downspouts really shine.

A state of the art heat pump has been installed to provide better climate control.		 Click to Enlarge
Signage is being added to inform visitors of the nature of the project.
The garage has been rebuilt.
