Calling All Great Music Fans to the Bluegrass Barn
If you love bluegrass music, you will love the Bluegrass Barn performances at Frying Pan Farm Park held on the first and third Sunday of the month beginning this November and continuing through April 2013. These performances feature legendary performers worth the price of the $12 per person ticket. Doors open at 6 p.m. and show time is 7 p.m. The series, held indoors at the park’s Visitor Center is sponsored by the Friends of Frying Pan Park in cooperation with the Fairfax County Park Authority.
This is a stellar assembly of the bluegrass world’s best and includes:
- Appalachian Flyer on November 18
- Patuxent Partners on December 2
- Flint Hollow on December 16
- Town Mountain on January 6, 2013
- The Lisa Kay Band on January 20
- The April Verch Band on February 17
- Nu-Blu Bluegrass on March 3
- Bill Emerson and Sweet Dixie on March 17
- Wayne Taylor and Appaloosa on April 7
- Junior Sisk and Ramblers Choice on April 21

| This bi-weekly Sunday performance series, held at Frying Pan Farm Park's Visitor Center, showcases some of the best of local and regional Bluegrass musicians. Performances held monthly. Support the Bluegrass Barn by becoming a season pass holder. Season pass includes admission to all shows, plus prime reserved seating. Doors open at 6pm, concert starts at 7pm. Tickets will be available for pick-up at the door the night of the show. All sales are final.
