Rec-PAC Provides Summer Memories in Safe Environment

Rec-PAC Provides Summer Memories in Safe Environment

Parents looking for an exciting, affordable, and convenient summer camp program for their children should consider the Fairfax County Park Authority’s Rec-PAC, a structured six-week summer program with a different theme each week. Rec-PAC is held in 47 Fairfax County elementary schools and parents can sign up for one week at a time or all six weeks at once.

Fees are based on household income, with $120 the maximum amount charged. Partial scholarships are available for some families. Registration has begun and participants who register by June 13, 2014 will receive a discount of $8 per week per child. Registration forms are available online.

Rec-PAC also offers a counselor in training program (C.I.T.) for youth age 14-17. Registration information for our C.I.T. Program can be found at Rec-PAC Counselor-in-Training (C.I.T.) Programs Volunteer.

For more information, call Rec-PAC Manager Mike Bonneville at 703-324-5273.
