Aquatic Exercise Class Frequently Asked Questions Why is the Park Authority changing the water exercise program? As a means to address the growing needs of our customers, the new Aqua Exercise Flex Pass allows us to continue to provide you the flexibility to attend your preferred classes as the Park Authority moves to a complete electronic check-in process. Where can I purchase an Aqua Exercise Flex Pass? You can purchase your Aqua Exercise Flex Pass at any of our RECenters or via Passes Online. Can I use my scholarship to purchase an Aqua Exercise Flex Pass? Starting with the winter 2011 term, scholarships will only be available for registrants in CODED classes but are not available towards the purchase of an Aqua Exercise Flex Pass.  I lost my barcode; does that mean I lost my Aqua Exercise Flex Pass (or my ability to attend the class that I registered in)? Barcode cards, unlike the current paper punch card, can be replaced at our front desk at no additional cost to you. If you lose your barcode the front desk staff will gladly replace it. Can I receive a refund for the Aqua Exercise Flex Pass? The Fairfax County Park Authority will honor refund requests for the remaining number of pass visits prior to its expiration.  Please note that refunds are not allowed for expired flex pass visits.  The Aqua Exercise Flex pass will expire 4 months from date of purchase. What is the refund policy if I cannot attend the water exercise class for which I am registered? Please inquire at the RECenter Front Desk. You can also find this information in the Parktakes magazine or you may also check online. What if the pool is closed prior to the start of my class or the class is cancelled? The RECenter will attempt to notify customers registered for the class in advance if there is a pool or facility closure, or if the class is cancelled for any other reason. We will not be able to provide advanced notice for customers using the Aqua Exercise Flex Pass. Credits will be issued to registered class participants on their Park Authority member account. Flex Pass holders will not be credited or refunded due to facility closures or class cancellations. What if I use one of my passes and the pool closes during my class? In the event of a pool closure during your class, please request a credit to be issued to your pass at the Front Desk PRIOR to leaving the facility.
