Dance

Dance is for everyone! You can dance your way to better health, broader social contacts, increased poise and flexibility, greater self-confidence and more. Dance is the fun way to get that regular physical activity recommended by the U.S. Surgeon General. So pick a step and a style and start moving to the music! All classes are group lessons. For adult classes, couples are recommended. Singles are welcome in most classes.

Please remember:

  • All dance instructors have different teaching styles.
  • Be sure to wear comfortable clothing. Any clothing requirements will be discussed at the first class meeting.
  • Check the listings for information on couples-only classes.
  • Instructional aids, publications and tapes may be available for optional purchase in some dance classes.

Ages 55 and older. Pay $2 at the door. Dances Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1-3pm at Lincolnia Senior Center (703-914-0223). Disk Jockey: Geserick

Tea Dances

For all ages! Pay $3 at the door. Dances held on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays of the month, 2-4pm, at Lincolnia Senior Center (703-914-0223). Disk jockey: Geserick.
