Trips & Tours The Fairfax County Park Authority offers trips and tours that vary from season to season year-round... Shopping, sporting events, festivals, day cruises, museums, beaches, New York City, railroad, historic, day cruises and winery type day tours are just some of the many trips offered. -- Longwood Gardens bursts with a wide array of colors and aromas from delicate flora -- Spend a hot summer day cruising to Tangier Island or soaking up the sun on the beach in Ocean City -- The fall is a colorful time of year to travel to the Shenandoah Valley and see the magnificent foliage -- Winter brings the flowers of the Philadelphia Flower Show to life   Register through Parktakes Online for these exciting, fun-filled trips and tours! Or call our Tours Hotline at 703-324-TOURS (8687)   The Park Authority also offers overnight trips... Some overnight trips that have been offered in the past are Niagara Falls and Virginia Beach. These trips are a hassle free way to travel and are not to be missed. They are a great way to beat the traffic, save on gas and have all arrangements made for you. Don't wait to register... After you have registered for a trip with us, the Tours Program Coordinator will mail you an intinerary 11 business days prior to the trip outlining the day's events. Most trips travel to and from destinations on a motorcoach offering reclining seats and a lavatory. Taking a trip with us is a relaxing way to enjoy your destination without the hassle of traffic. Due to payment and motorcoach deadlines, trips will be cancelled 11 business days prior to the trip date if a minimum number of customers has not been met. *Adobe Acrobat Reader version 4.0 or greater is required to view and print these files.
