With a RECenter membership pass you have the opportunity to participate in a variety of land group exercise classes offered as part of the Drop In Group Fitness program. From cycling to step, rowing to high-low aerobics, Drop In Group Fitness offers the best of all worlds.
The Cub Run fitness room is one of the most diverse in the area, with over 100 pieces of traditional and specialty equipment that can accommodate users of all abilities, including dedicated core/balance and flexibility training stations.
The weight room includes the premium Eagle line from Cybex, which features range limiting devices and gas assist seats for ease of use and safety. Our FreeMotion strength line has virtually no seat settings to remember, easing the transition for first time lifters. Elite athletes can use the very same pieces, making minor adjustments for challenges they can't experience on any other equipment.
For the tech savvy, the Cybex line is networked to FitLinxx, a computerized system that records strength workouts automatically and facilitates communication with your personal trainer. If you'd like to take your cardiovascular workouts with you, ProPartner software on our treadmills and bikes allows you to download and monitor your workout using a Palm OS handheld. If that's not enough to keep boredom at bay, watch one of our 23 TVs and tune in to your personal radio for audio through our wireless entertainment system!
If a group setting is more your style, check out our innovative group exercise classes. Cub Run is one of less than 10 facilities on the east coast to offer GRAVITYGroup, a dynamic 30-minute strength training class, and GRAVITY Pilates, featuring reformer based exercises. The fitness staff at Cub Run is devoted to helping you find activities that you enjoy, allowing you to make lifestyle changes that you can maintain. Our two full-time fitness professionals are supported by fitness assistants, fitness instructors, and personal trainers.
