Mount Vernon – Facility Rental Rates

Looking for the ideal place to hold your next birthday party? Mount Vernon RECenter can accommodate groups as small as two and as large as 30.

We understand that planning any event can be stressful so we try to make your booking as simple as possible. Reserve your room by signing the rental agreement and paying the hourly rate. It's that simple!

Full payment due at time of rental.

Security Deposit
A security deposit is required on the day of the rental. The security deposit can be paid by check (which is held and returned to you after doing a walk-through following your party) or by credit card if credit card number is on the contract. Rental rooms will be available for set up 15 minutes prior to the party. Rooms must be cleaned up and vacated by the time specified on your contract. (Example: A rental scheduled from 4:00 - 5:30 can be set up at 3:45 & be vacated by 5:30) If the room is not vacated by the contracted time, a charge for the additional time will accrue in half hour increments.

Chairs and Tables
Up to 20 chairs and 5 tables are provided with your rental. Extra chairs and tables are available at $2.50 per table and $.75 per chair.

Room Rental Party Options
In addition to the various rooms available to rent, Mt. Vernon RECenter offers a unique array of fun and exciting activities that you might wish to incorporate into your event. These include an indoor 25 meter x 25 yard heated swimming pool, an ice arena, or the option of hiring one of our instructors for a mini lesson (tumbling, martial arts, dance, etc).

In addition to your room rental price, there is a General Admission fee or a Public Session Admission fee for skating per each participant. Groups of 12 or more are charged the group rate of 25% off the regular price. Adults who want to go down to the pool, but not in the pool, can pay the chaperone fee of $1.50. Although chaperones do not have to be in the pool, they must be present while children are in the water. Skates can be rented for $2.50 per pair.

Responsibility for Personal Items
If you are swimming or ice skating before your scheduled room time, you will be responsible for securing your gifts and party accessories. If you want to arrive early to decorate or store your belongings, it is suggested that you rent your room for the extra time needed.
