Spring Hill Recreation Center is a 44, 062 square foot facility that houses a heated indoor 25-Yard by 25-meter swimming pool with ramp and two one-meter diving boards, a poolside spa, beach and wading areas, saunas, and locker rooms with showers.

On the Main Level - the preschool classroom, a mezzanine with an overlook to the pool and a huge dance studio.

On the Lower Level - a Racquetball/Walleyball court with glass back walls, a multi-purpose activity room, a Fitness Room featuring a FitLinxx Circuit, and more.

The Spring Hill RECenter has a 25-yard by 25-meter heated indoor pool with two one-meter Duraflex springboards, outdoor sundeck, saunas, locker rooms with showers, and poolside spa. Our comprehensive programs promote safety, skill development, fitness, social interaction and fun.

Three or more lap swimming lanes are always open for customers during operating hours. Shallow (3 1/2 ft.) play space is available after 12 Noon on most days.

Various user groups share the pool space. FCPA and Fairfax County Public Schools share the commitment for hosting the high school swim and dive teams for practice and meets November through February. Nationally ranked swimming teams also rent space for practice and meets.

Our Lifeguards

Professionally trained lifeguards oversee all natatorium activities. We are proud to be associated with Ellis & Associates (E & A), an aquatic safety consulting firm that provides the National Pool and Waterpark Lifeguard Training Program (NPWLTP). Licensed lifeguards maintain high standards with constant training and practice.

Spring Hill RECenter - Fitness Center

Spring Hill's 3,625 square foot fitness room includes 33 cardio machines and 16 Cybex strength machines in our strength circuit, all of which are connected to our FitLinxx system.

With a RECenter membership pass you have the opportunity to participate in a variety of land group exercise classes offered as part of the Drop-in Group Fitness program. From cycling to step, rowing to high-low aerobics, Drop-in Group Fitness offers the best of all worlds.

The Fitlinxx System tracks and monitors workouts to help our members achieve and maintain their fitness goals. With Fitlinxx you receive the support of a certified trainer who is committed to helping people of all ages to improve their way of life.

Your FitLinxx individualized workout program is free with a RECenter membership pass. Dumbells and Smith Machines are also available to provide variety to strength training.

Our Fitness Center is open to ages 12 years and above. All youth (12-15 years old) must be accompanied by an adult at each machine at all times, with the exception of those certified through our teen weight training classes.

In addition to the Fitness Center, Spring Hill has racquetball/walleyball courts and swimming pool to help you stay fit.

Spring Hill RECenter - Preschool

Spring Hill RECenter is very proud to have excellent staff and facility to support a licensed half day preschool. The staff is comprised of qualified teachers who work and communicate well with children.

Kid’s Play for Preschoolers is a program established to provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can develop emotionally, socially and intellectually through appropriate experiences.

We believe children learn best through play; therefore hands-on activities which enhance learning, promote independence, and foster a positive self-image are provided.

School Calendar: we follow Fairfax County Public School Calendar, with a few exceptions that are discussed at orientation.

Registration:Typically, registration for Preschool is in spring prior to the school year the child attends. However, openings come up intermittently due to the mobile area we live in! Call the RECenter and check on availability. The fee is charged on a monthly basis and is based upon the class the child attends.

Forms Required: Immunization records, physical, emergency, pick-up authorization, and original birth certificate must be presented by the first day of class.

Spring Hill RECenter - Outdoor Activities

The grounds surrounding Spring Hill RECenter include:

  • "Tot Lot" Play Area
  • 2 Combination Football/Soccer Fields
  • Little League Baseball Field

Adult Single: (1 non-senior 19 yrs. and older)
Adult 2 Person: 2 non-seniors 19 yrs. and older)

Dependent: (Must be purchased in conjunction with a pass in one of the other categories)
Youth/Student: (5-18 yrs./also available for ages 19-24 yrs. with a valid high school, college or vocational I.D.)
