South Run RECenter – Facility Rental Rates

Looking for the ideal place to hold your next birthday party or meeting? South Run RECenter can accommodate groups as small as two and as large as 30.

At South Run we understand that planning any event can be stressful so we try to make your booking as simple as possible. Reserve your room by signing the rental agreement and paying the hourly rate. It's that simple!

South Run also operates an earth floor field house, approximately 24,000 square feet in size, which is available for rental.

Security Deposit
A security deposit is required on every rental. The security deposit can be paid by check (which is held and returned to you after doing a walk-through following your party) or by credit card if credit card number is on the contract. Rental rooms must be cleaned up and vacated by the time specified on your contract. (Example: A rental scheduled from 4:00 – 5:30 must be vacated by 5:30) If the room is not vacated by the contracted time, a charge for the additional time will accrue in half hour increments.

Chairs and Tables
Up to 20 chairs and 5 tables are provided with your rental. Extra chairs and tables are available at $2.50 per table and $.75 per chair.

Room Rental Party Options
In addition to the various rooms available to rent, South Run RECenter offers a unique array of fun and exciting activities that you might wish to incorporate into your event. These include an indoor 25 x 25 yard heated swimming pool, spa, fitness room with a resistance circuit and cardiovascular equipment, showers and a sauna in both the men's and women's locker rooms. We also have two courts for racquetball and wallyball. (We recommend that children be at least 8 years of age for Wallyball.)

On Saturdays from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm our water toy is out and on Sundays the diving boards are open from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm, based on lifeguard and toy availability. We make every effort to have the deep end open, but if we do not have enough lifeguards, we are forced to close this area without notice. In order to be in water over their shoulders or to use the water toy, children must pass a quick swim test in front of the lifeguard. Each child must swim (without flotation device) the width of the pool (25 yards) without stopping or grabbing the divider ropes. No flotation device may be worn on the water toy. Flotation device use by non-swimmers in the shallow end requires direct adult (in-water) supervision.

In addition to your room rental price, you will need to pay General Admission for each participant. For groups of 12 or more, you will be charged the group rate, which is 25% off the regular price. Adults who want to go down to the pool, but not in the pool, can pay the chaperone fee of $1.50. Although chaperones do not have to be in the pool, they must be present while children are in the water.

Responsibility for Personal Items
If you are swimming or playing wallyball before your scheduled room time, you will be responsible for securing your gifts and party accessories. Our front desk cannot be responsible for holding presents, balloons, food, etc. If you want to arrive early to decorate or store your belongings, it is suggested that you rent your room for the extra time needed.
