South Run RECenter is approximately 34,000 square feet. The center houses a 25 x 25 yard heated, indoor pool with ramp access, two one meter diving boards and a beach/wading area. The natatorium encompasses a poolside spa, outdoor sundeck, family changing room, and locker rooms with showers and saunas. The lower level of the center consists of two racquetball/wallyball courts, and a fitness center with Cybex VR2 equipment. On the entry level are three multi-purpose rooms and a lobby that overlooks the pool.

The grounds surrounding the center are comprised of 182 acres, which include soccer and baseball/softball fields, two tennis courts, two outdoor basketball courts, a field house with newly installed athletic turf playing surface, accessible playground, and an off-leash dog area. Paved trails connect the RECenter with Burke Lake Park and Lake Mercer.
