Gateway to Sully Woodlands Park

Cub Run RECenter.

Cub Run is the first RECenter to feature a Nature Program with a resident naturalist. The RECenter is located in far western Fairfax County, nestled in the Cub Run stream valley just steps away from the stream itself. Classes and programs take advantage of the nearby newly acquired lands of Sully Woodlands and local natural surface trails along the beautiful Cub Run Stream Valley and nearby wetland mitigation area with the naturalist as a guide.

The Nature Program will also include children's classes, family programs, summer nature camps, scout badges, school field trips and in-depth nature study for adults.

As bond projects are completed, Cub Run will be connected to many resources including the fields at Quinn Farm Park and the cross county trail through the more than 177 acreas of the Hunter-Hacor tract along Pleasant Valley Road, the heart of Sully Woodlands Park.
