Cub Run RECenter - Aquatics Register through Parktakes Online for these exciting, fun-filled programs! Competition Pool Cub Run RECenter has a 25 meter x 25 yard competition pool with two one-meter Duraflex springboards, a leisure pool with zero-depth entry, spray features, an in-water playground, a vortex, a current channel, and two water slides, a poolside spa, locker rooms with showers, and spectator seating for 175 guests. Our comprehensive programs promote safety, skill development, fitness, social interaction and fun. Various user groups share pool space. Swim teams and SCUBA clubs rent space for practice and meets. FCPA and Fairfax County Public Schools share the commitment for hosting the high school swim and dive teams for practice and meets November through February. Leisure Pool's In-Water Playground Leisure Pool With a zero-depth entry and plenty of play features, this is the perfect pool for children! This 4,860 square foot leisure pool is equipped with an in-water playground, numerous spray features, a current channel (lazy river), vortex, open area for classes and lessons, and two waterslides, including one 50 foot fully enclosed slide that exits the building and reenters at the bottom. Our whirlpool spa overlooks the leisure pool. Our Lifeguards Professionally trained lifeguards oversee all natatorium activities. We are proud to be associated with Ellis & Associates (E & A), an aquatic safety consulting firm that provides the National Pool and Waterpark Lifeguard Training Program (NPWLTP). Licensed lifeguards maintain high standards with constant training and practice.
